I'm a front-end developer at Employment and Social Development Canada and I'm passionate about building intuitive and efficient web applications. During my time with the Learning Infrastructure team, I designed and developed various web applications to support multimedia and e-learning initiatives, focusing on creating user-friendly and accessible interfaces while solving complex problems. I strive to write clean and efficient code, ensuring that applications are scalable and maintainable.

My career objective is to apply my problem solving skills and web development expertise to create scalable and user friendly applicatons. I utilize my free time to improve my programming skills, explore new technologies, and to work on projects that fuel my creativity.

Multimedia Technician - Learning Infrastructure team
  • Developed and delivered robust web applications for multimedia and e-Learning projects, including Virtual Assistant Tool, System Simulations and an Image Optimizer Tool
  • Designed and developed a scalable JavaScript-based virtual assistant tool, achieving daily engagement from hundreds of users through an intuitive interface and ongoing feature enhancements.
  • Designed and implemented multiple system simulation tools in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that mirror existing departmental systems, strategically incorporating overlays for an interactive, step-by-step training. Systems utilized by 30+ users, enhancing departmental training efficiency.
  • Designed and developed an Image Cropper and Optimizer tool in JavaScript enabling users to modify images. Implemented a feature to accurately preview the appearance of modified images within the ADAPT authoring tool streamlining the design workflow process
  • Utilized the WET Template to develop a website hosting multimedia and e-learning projects, creating a structured and accessible platform to streamline information sharing and resource access.
